As the name implies, the Overview page, or Overview Dashboard, provides a summary of your company’s employee advocacy, content distribution, and social media engagement activities as a result of using Please Share.
The page itself consists of the following three sections:
- Year-to-Date Totals
- Monthly Engagement Requests Totals
- Monthly Share Requests Totals
Year-to-Date Totals
The first section on top of the page highlights two employee advocacy data points: Total Trackable Events and Employee Advocacy Return.
The first data point, Total Trackable Events, is simply a running count of actions and events that are attributed to using the Please Share service. For example, likes, shares, URL clicks, etc.
The second data point, Employee Advocacy Return, provides the monetary value associated with all of the individual events that are attributed to using the Please Share service. The values associated with specific events can be seen and adjusted on the Configuration page.
Both data points are based on the calendar year (i.e., January 1st to December 31st).
Monthly Social Media Engagement Requests Totals
The data in the column on the left (below Year-to-Date Totals) highlights the monthly events and ROI associated with social media engagement requests sent to Slack from Please Share for the current calendar month (e.g., April 2022).
The data presented in this column is a summary of the more detailed information available in the Engagement Requests report.
Please Share users can toggle to previous months using the dropdown menu above this section. Each data cell also provides a year-to-date count for a particular event or calculation.
Monthly Social Media Share Requests Totals
The data in the column on the right (below Year-to-Date Totals) highlights the monthly events and ROI associated with share requests (or content distribution requests) sent to Slack from Please Share for the current calendar month (e.g., April 2022).
The data presented in this column is a summary of the more detailed information available in the Share Requests report.
