Yes. When an already shortened URL is added to a share request in Please Share, it will be automatically wrapped in a unique “pls.sh” URL.
Provided that the URL has already been shortened, the length of the URL itself will likely not change, but this will allow the Please Share service to track and report shares and clicks.
This process does not impact reporting of URLs shortened using Ow.ly, Bit.ly, or similar services.
