The two primary statistics that Please Share tracks as it relates to your employee advocacy initiatives are “shares” and “clicks.”

  • A "share" is registered anytime one of your coworkers selects a "Post to" or "Share on" button in a particular update sent to Slack. For example, if a team member shares an update on Twitter and Facebook, Please Share will register two "shares."

  • A "click," on the other hand, tracks the number of times someone clicks on a content update that one of your coworkers shared on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn. If 10 people click on an update that was posted on LinkedIn, for instance, Please Share will associate 10 "clicks" to that update.

In Please Share, clicks can be assigned a value (e.g., $1.25) so companies can gauge the return on investment (ROI) associated to their employee advocacy initiatives.
